Keeping the middle tight is always #1 on our list. No matter what how our weight fluctuates on the scale, a flat tummy can help us look and feel our best! Besides looking better in clothes, a strong core can help you avoid back pain and injuries, which is becomes a great risk as we get older. Although this video is about “Hard Core Abs,” keep in mind that your core is more than just the abdominals. It includes your back, sides and abdominal muscles. With so many muscles involved in this area, there are dozens of moves you can try out in your workout routine. But this video is about the ones that always get my abs shaking, and with consistency, help me reach abs you can see on the outside. And these moves definitely incorporate the entire core so their great for posture and overall health!
To perform these moves, all you need is a mat and some space on the floor. Be sure to do every move as slowly as you can to really feel the burn. Think about actually flexing your abs as you do each move. It will hurt more, but that means the result will be that much better!
If your form isn’t perfect on your first try, do the modified move until your core strength can catch up!
