Workout of the Week: No Equipment Back Workout

Maybe it’s because we can’t see it all the time, but the back typically goes unnoticed, until it hurts, or until the dreaded “back fat” starts to develop! Strengthening your back can help prevent back pain, assist your abs (your back is a part of your overall core) and of course, improve your posture! Fortunately, it can be very simple to strengthen those back muscles as they are some of the largest and strongest muscles in our bodies! But before you grab the weights, give this no-equipment-necessary-workout a try!

What You Need:

  • A mat
  • A clear space

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Pike Push Ups
  • Superwomans
  • Snow Angels
  • I-Y-T Lifts

Try each move out for 12 reps, then repeat the whole routine 2 or 3 times!
